John Perry Breaux
John Perry Breaux, 78, a resident of Texas City, Texas, passed away on January 10, 2026. He was born on February 17, 1947 in Galveston, Texas to Pierre Breaux and Odile Breaux Johnson.
For the past 25 years, John owned and operated JB Services, LLC, a courier and hotshot company. Throughout that time, he truly enjoyed building lasting relationships with his customers and providing dedicated service. Prior to starting his own business, John worked in the petrochemical industry.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He fought in the Vietnam war (1967-1968) and was a Purple Heart recipient.
John is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Gaynell Childress. He leaves behind to treasure his memory, his loving wife, Barbara Spurgin Breaux; daughter, Stacey Klaes Rodwell and husband, Stephen; grandson, Aaron Klaes and wife, Alyssa; great-granddaughter, Ava Klaes; extended grandchildren, Rylan D’Ascenzo and Savannah Petrillo; nephew, George Childress (Tammy); niece Donna Pothos Stroia (Richard); Sister-in-laws, Vickie Lovejoy (Cosme), Dolores Bird (Jimmy), and Debbie Renfro (John).
In his honor, there will be a visitation on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 10:30am to 11:30am at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas. A funeral service will follow at 11:30am with interment immediately after at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers are Alex Klaes, Rylan D’Ascenzo, Willie Bird, Bobby Lewis, James Lewis and Ben Coulson. Honorary pallbearers are Kaleb Vines and Leslie Moore.
