  2. I am saddened to hear of Joe passing. I had known Joe since I moved to Kohfeldt Elementary in the middle of the 5th grade. Not knowing anybody was terrifying to me at that time. He was one of the first people to come up to me and welcome me. Show me the ropes… which were cool teachers and which ones were not so…, well… let’s just say, not so bendy. He spoke to me as if he’d known me all his life. I will never forget that. From then on we were life long friends. As we grew up we drifted apart as growing up usually entails, but always a hug and hand shake over a cold brew when we did cross paths, as brothers do.
Rest in eternal peace my brother, until we meet again.
My condolences to Joe’s Family and Friends

I met Joe back in 2010 when I started working at the Dickinson high school. He was one of the sweetest people you could have had the privilege of meeting. Joe was one of those people who never met a stranger! He truly loved his family and friends along with all the students at the high school.
I am deeply saddened that he is no longer with us!!!
My prayers go out to his family!
Spread your wing and fly high Joe for you have earned them!!

  8. Every time I ran into Joe he had a smile on his face and I have known him close to fifty years . He was always the friend that when your paths crossed he was always glad to see you. I would have been there tonight but I’m in lockdown because I came into contact with someone who had the virus. Rest in peace my friend. I will see you on the other side and we’ll have a cold one. My sincere condolences to the family, especially Patricia.
