JD Miller

JD Miller, of League City, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025 in Houston, Texas at the age of 80. He went to be with his bride of 55 years, Glecia who passed away in 2023. He was born at Langley AFB, Virginia to James and Wilma Miller. He moved with his family to Texas, from Baltimore, in the boom of the 1970s.

He enjoyed all sports especially baseball, and he worked at the Astros through the 2025 season as Club Level supervisor. He also worked sporting events at Rice U and UH as well as for the Dynamo, and Dash. He retired from ExxonMobil, and worked for the United Way through their annuitant program.

He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Glecia Miller.

He is survived by his daughters, Shana Miller, Melissa Berrier, and his sister Debbie Miller.

If you are between the ages of 18 and 60 years old, with excellent physical and mental health, please consider becoming a living organ donor including partial liver donation.

The Family will receive friends on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at 2:30 with a Ceremony at 3:30 at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main, League City, Texas 77573.
