James Lloyd “Leroy” Beasley

James Lloyd “Leroy” Beasley, passed away on Thursday, April 25 peacefully with his daughter by his side at the young age of 76 years old after a Long battle with dementia. James Beasley was born in Foley Alabama on October 12th of 1942

Later residing as in Pensacola Florida as well as Houston Texas he was always back-and-forth between the two

My father was a great man a man! He was a kind devoted father to his daughters raising 2 girls that were not his but always love them as if they were.  Raising 3 girls to become women I’m sure wasn’t easy for him but he was always there for us never backing away no matter what surprises we threw at him, he was always up for the challenge.   He was a very hard-working man.    Some of you know him as Jim some as James or Leroy but mostly to us he was either dad or papa. He was a huge family man devoting his time hard work and everything he had in his heart and soul to making sure that his family was always happy. Making it to almost every family function from weddings Two baseball games or soccer games, graduations even children being born.  He was always there with a smile and a willing hand to help.

He served in the United States Air Force stationed in Japan, Hong Kong, Vietnam. Serving our country for 8 years then returning to Japan as a civilian working for Lear Sieglar Inc.

He was an airplane mechanic working on fighter jets he loved what he did often telling stories of the days from his service.

After the Air Force he became a pipefitter Working for such companies such as psi for many years, Daniels and SERF.  He worked a lot all of his years but no matter what he always found time for us and for that we will forever be grateful. The world won’t be the same without him.

He’s taught us all so many things, we will miss that very much. He has gone to be with the lord and can think again. During his battle with dementia he gave it a good run! showing with his will, determination to remember us, never forgetting a face or a name just how much he truly loved us!   we are blessed beyond Measure that he knew who we were always!!!   I am forever thankful god chose you to be my father and roll model. I am forever Thankful for you!!!!

Blessed to be your daughters blessed to Have you as our friend and confidant. Our rock!!!! You were a blessing to so many as an uncle or brother a grandfather and even a great grandfather we will always cherish you, and hold you in our hearts forever!  So, dad fly high with the Angels as we know you’re watching over us… god speed dad, we love you!
