James “Jim” Storey Hamilton, of League City, Texas passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017 in Houston, Texas at the age of 63. He was born March 23, 1954 in Paris, Texas to Storey and Bettie Hamilton. Jim was employed by Houston Lighting & Power for 22 years as a Senior Scheduler/Planner and then was employed in the oil, gas and offshore drilling industry as a Project Controls Analyst. Jim was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors, especially his time spent in Arizona. He loved music, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Jim is preceded in death by his father Storey Hamilton. Jim is survived by his wife Donna Hamilton, son Phillip Storey Hamilton and wife Kristy, daughter Blair Hamilton Brown and husband Addison, stepdaughters Jaime Zepeda and husband OJ, Lana Garcia, Katherine Taylor and husband Kevin, mother Bettie Hamilton, brother Kyle Hamilton and wife Karen, 6 grandsons, 3 granddaughters and adopted “Son,” Brent Cosner. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Saturday, July15, 2017 at 10:00am at Clear Lake Church of Christ, 938 El Dorado Blvd, Houston, Texas 77062 with Brother Byron Fike presiding.
