Helen Marie Fincham
Helen Marie Fincham, of League City, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2015 in League City at the age of 87. She was born on September 27, 1927 in Brenham, Texas to Martin and Minnie Stegemueller. Helen graduated from King’s Daughters Hospital School of Nursing in 1948 in Temple, Tx. She then proudly served our Armed Forces as a Civilian Lieutenant in the United Service Organizations. She later spent 35 years with University of Texas Medical Branch and retired in 1994. After retirement, she moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado where she devoted her time to her passion of rescuing feral cats. Helen is survived by her son David Fincham and wife Michele, six grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and many other loving friends and family. A Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, you may send memorials to League City Animal Shelter, 821 N Kansas Ave, League City, Texas 77573, for cat rescue work.
