Elizabeth was known affectionately as Lizzie to her family.  Elizabeth came to live with the Knight family as a 1 month old foster baby. She quickly won over their hearts and was given all the love and affection they could muster.   At age two Elizabeth was formally adopted on April 7, 1999 by the Knight family. She was loved profoundly by her big brothers, little brother and little sister as well as multitudes of extended family and friends.  She was baptized into the Catholic Faith by Bishop Edward Weisenburger at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Okarche, Oklahoma.  Her God parents were George Meyer and Denise Knight Martin.   The Knight family moved to Pearland Texas in 2003.  They are members of Mary Queen Catholic Church, where Elizabeth received her 1st Holy Eucharist and attended CCE, edge, and Life Teen. Elizabeth attended School in Pearland ISD, and graduated from Pearland High School in 2016.

Elizabeth loved animals of all kinds and often found abandoned strays which she would bring home. Although her life was short, Lizzie touched a lot of lives, for once she knew your name you were instantly her friend.  Elizabeth was known by her friends as a kind, giving person, who would share what she had with them whether it was food, clothing, or shelter.  Elizabeth will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

  4. So sorry for your loss. We remember Lizzie living next door to my mom/mother-in-law in okarche. She always wanted to visit when we were outside. Cute as a bug! What a beautiful young woman she has grown to be. We miss those days but cherish the memories even more now. May God comfort your family during this difficult time.
