Elizabeth Anne Evans

Elizabeth “Anne” Evans, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully with her family at her side May 11, 2022.  Born August 19,1934 in Gulfport, MS to Elmer and Ruth Cato, she was a longtime resident of Pasadena, TX.  Anne was a devoted Christian woman and longtime member of The Chancel and Handbell Choirs at Sunset United Methodist Church and Clear Lake United Methodist Church. She was a member of the United Methodist Women, The Pasadena Philharmonic Choir, and The Jamestowne Society.

Proceeded in death by her parents, husband Charles R. Evans, Jr, and son Kenneth Lee Evans, survived by sons Charles Evans, III (Mari), David Evans (Deborah), and Stuart Evans (Kathy), grandchildren Charles IV (Anna), Brian (Lindsay), Michael (Brittany), and Elizabeth (Kyle), great-grandchildren Savannah, Sophia, Ivanna, Garrett, Luke, Mark, and Chase.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 4:00–7:00 PM at Crowder Funeral Home – 111 E. Medical Center Blvd (at Hwy 3), Webster, TX.  Funeral Service Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Clear Lake United Methodist Church – 16335 El Camino Real, Houston, TX.  Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park, Pasadena, TX.  Dr. Paul Clines Officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Anne Evans to the above music ministry programs.
