David Martinez Franco

 

David Martinez Franco, a resident of Pearland, TX for 27 years, entered into eternal rest on August 18, 2021 in Houston, TX. He was born February 9, 1953 in San Antonio, TX and was of the Catholic Faith. He worked for the city of Houston and retired after 28 years of service.

David was a mechanic by trade but a car lover by choice. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, but most of all he enjoyed watching his grandkids play sports.

We lost an amazing husband, father, Papa, brother and friend. He was preceded in death by his, parents Abraham and Mary Franco, sister, Sylvia Chapa; brothers: Abraham Franco Jr., Robert Franco, and Samuel Franco and his beloved Canela.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, the love of his life Mary L. Franco married 48 years; daughters: Claudette Aguilar, husband Antonio, Nicole Franco, Alexa Holdren, husband Dylan; son, David Franco, wife Aimee; eleven grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a rosary at 6 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home 2422 E Broadway St. Pearland, TX 77581. Friday August 27, 2021 a viewing at San Juan Diego Catholic Church (3301 Pasadena BLVD. Pasadena TX 77503) at 10 am followed by Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Funeral procession to follow to South Park Cemetery 1310 N Main St. Pearland TX. 77581.

    • Mr. Franco will be truly truly missed I love the time that I spent with him and his wife Mrs Mary He always play tricks with Mrs Mary wasn’t around saying what are we going to do and I would say take a bath and he would say no no she’s not here and I would say oh yes you’re not getting me in trouble you’re taking a bath I would always win he was very wise man and when he spoke I would listen and truly will miss Mr. Franco but know that he’s walking now no wheelchair he’s healthy no sickness he’s in a good place he left good memories Mrs Mary I love you so much God has you. In his hand 48 years what a blessing

  5. I will truly miss waiting on him in a restaurant he was one of my favorite customers I always think I’m coming in I knew what he was going to drink and what he was going to eat he will truly be missed
