Cheryl Diane Bacon passed this life on July 16, 2021, at the age of 76, and was the surviving spouse of her beloved husband of thirty-five (35) years, Raymond Bacon. Cheryl was born in Tallahassee, Florida, but was domiciled and a life-long resident of Pearland, Texas. She was a valuable team member throughout her twenty (20) year(s) career at Lowe’s; being known for her expertise in the paint industry, as she was often referred to as the
“The Paint Lady.”
Cheryl reunites with her husband, Raymond Bacon; beloved daughter, Shelly Chappie; maternal parent, Regine Boner; paternal parent, Jerald Ognibene. She leaves behind her best-friend also sister, Renee Erwin, and Larry Erwin her brother-in-law; brother, Les Draper; grandchild, Raymond Chappie; great-grandchildren, Pyrson Neil Chappie and Cannon Ace Alejandro; adored friend and “paint pal”, Maryanne (Ann) Houston.
You are so missed! May you RIP and be healed. There will never be another “Paint Lady” like you!

We never met, but I met Ray in Flightschool back in the late 70’s. We were then stationed in the 101st Abn Div at Fort Campbell, for a few years, Ray in B Company 229th and me in A btry 377th Fild Artillary.
