Carolyn June James

With great sadness we share the passing of Carolyn June James on March 10, 2023 in League City, TX.  Carolyn was born on June 26, 1942 in Texarkana, TX.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Claire James; brothers Bobby James and Eric James.  She is survived by her siblings Peggy Johnson, Paula Wolny, Mike James and his wife Deborah James, and Robinson James.
Carolyn spent her life nurturing her nieces and nephews: James, Billy, Donald; Carol Ann, Jerry, Russell, Richard; Amy, Matt; Allison, Kristin; Dustin. Spending our after school hours and summers with her will never be topped.  She always knew how to make someone feel loved, happy and secure and will always hold a special place in the hearts she touched. She was selfless, independent, loved Elvis and even more so loved the Lord. Don’t take a chance playing Dominoes with Carolyn, you will certainly lose.
We would also like to thank the staff at Regent Care Center of League City for the great care shown, as well as Traditions Hospice.  We would also like to extend a special thanks to her long time neighbors Scott & Pat Honeycutt of Pasadena.
The family will be holding a privtae memorial service in her honor on May 13, 2023. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Mental Health Foundation and/or Dementia Society of America.
