Belinda Foland

After a strong battle with cancer, Belinda Foland passed away peacefully on December 3rd, 2021, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Mission, Texas to Maria Olympia Valladares and Reyes Leonel Valladares, Belinda was described as a bundle of joy & laughter. Belinda was passionate about life from a very young age and participated in countless activity clubs throughout her younger years. In 1981 Belinda met Jay in Stafford, Texas, and immediately fell in love. They went on to be married for 35 years and had three children together.

Belinda was a fiercely dedicated, tenacious & loyal mother, raising three equally independent children. Belinda was our biggest cheerleader and our constant supporter. Our family would not be where it is today if we didn’t have Belinda as a mother. Being a mother was one of the most important parts of Belinda’s life, a role that gave her much pride and joy. She was an excellent mom, supportive, kind, hilarious, and witty and we will all miss her dearly.

Left to cherish her beautiful memories are her husband: Richard Jay Foland; Sons: Roland Foland, Richard Foland and Raye Foland. Brother: Roy Valladares, 23 nieces and nephews, 1 God child, Alexander Julian Perez and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, mother in-laws, sister in-laws, brothers in-laws & friends she also considered family — and her four beloved Grand Dogs; Trooper, Cooper, Shiner, Koozie & Zero.

A viewing for Belinda will be held at Crowder Funeral Home in League City (1645 East Main Street, League City, TX) on Friday, December 10th, 2021. The open viewing will begin at 10am until 7pm, friends and family can come and go as they wish. Family will be present from 3pm-6pm. There will be a Rosary Service from 5pm-6pm.
