Tricia, my heart aches for you.
The love you and your husband shared was something rare—steady, tender, and deeply rooted in the way you cared for one another.
Anyone who saw you two together could feel the warmth between you, the quiet understanding, the partnership that carried you through every season of life. That kind of love doesn’t end; it leaves an imprint that stays forever.
I know this loss is immeasurable. When someone has been your companion, your confidant, your safe place, the world feels different without them.
Please hold close the truth that the love you gave him, and the love he gave you, will always be part of you. It was real, it was beautiful, and it will continue to shine through your memories, your strength, and the way he helped shape your heart.
You don’t have to carry this alone. I’m here for you—in the quiet moments, in the heavy ones, and in the ones where you just need someone to sit beside you. You are surrounded by love, and you are not walking this path without support.

Allen and I worked together at the Southeast Plant beginning in 2001 and became instant friends. I left Houston for Tampa, Fl and lured him out to manage the desalination plant in Apollo Beach. In those days, we played a lot of golf together (like three times a week). He kicked my butt every time as he was an excellent golfer. When we both relocated back to Houston, we continued our friendship and our love for fishing and golf. Unfortunately, I moved to California in 2009, and we drifted apart….I’m so sorry for your loss. He was the best maintenance manager I’ve ever known, and he was a all around solid, stand-up guy, and a good friend for many years.
