Patrick Thomas Baird
Patrick Thomas Baird, 15, of League City, TX, passed away on August 11, 2026.
Patrick was born on June 1, 2011 in Webster, Texas. He was active in the Cadets scouting program with our church, enjoyed being an altar boy, and loved ringing the church bell. He was a fun and outgoing boy who loved camping, the outdoors, and had many close friends. He was full of life, had a huge heart, and touched everyone he met.
Patrick is survived by his parents, Andrew and Rachel, his sister, Lucy, and his brothers Luke, Matthew, and Amos.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all of those who knew him. We will miss his jokes, funny sayings, and comradery.
The Rosary and viewing will begin at 6:00 PM on Monday, August, 17, at Queen of Angels chapel and there will be an all night vigil for him afterwards until 7:00 AM.
The funeral mass will be on Tuesday, August 18 at 10:00 AM at Queen of Angels chapel in Dickinson, TX.
To Mr./Mrs. Baird Family- We are so saddened at the death of your son, Patrick! We are told..that our losses are Heaven’s gain..so with God’s help/with many prayers/sacrifices/Masses, we hope that someday you will be able to embrace this heavy cross..for it’s a cross of love! God gave you Patrick..so He will take care of Him! Patrick will be on our Rosary list, along with so many other cherished or departed souls from Queen of Angel’s for years to come. We each have treasured memories of ‘loved one’s’..it’s a place or space that will always be kept reserved for them. Maybe with time..that love will deepen and transform our faith/trust in God. For this we hope so..because God promised that He would never abandon us!! Our Blessed Mother knew well..she excepted her purpose in life at a young age. Patrick was already an altar server! Although I never met him..I realized he was a sweet kid!!! May he rest in peace at the footstool of Our Blessed Mother and her Divine Son, Jesus..serving them in heaven/for eternity! My deepest condolences for the Baird family. May God guide and console your family. My family and I will keep your family and Patrick’s soul in our thoughts and prayers. As Patrick’s classmate , im really glad that I got to meet him. I’m proud and grateful that I was one of his friends and classmate. Patrick was always lively and honest . Patrick was very brave and not very easily embarrassed, that’s why it was always fun to joke around with him and make fun of him sometimes. The best thing about him was that he was always there for his siblings , friends , and classmates, he always waited for me and Matthew to finish packing our backpacks , making us all late together sometimes, because we were the same class of three for almost five years , growing up together and helping each other pass each grade. The times that we all spent with Patrick wasn’t wasted , it was a blessing with some of the best , most cherished memories that won’t be forgotten.
Andy, Rachel, Lucy, Luke, Matthew and Amos, please accept our deepest and most heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your beloved Patrick. We are praying for all of you and wish you comfort and healing. May Patrick rest in peace.

We are so sorry for your loss. I never properly met Patrick, but I’ve always seen him from afar and seen his joyful and amusing heart. We’ve also heard many wonderful stories about his humor and happiness from his classmates and friends. Christopher got to know him pretty well at the Braves camp, and he will never forgot all Patrick did for him. He was a great kid, and made many very happy. We pray for his soul everyday and for the condolences for the Baird family. One more note is that we’ve all noticed how strong Luke has been for his family. He is a brave young man. God bless, and we will never forget Patrick.
