Linda Carole Riley, 81, of Webster, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026. She was born on November 23, 1944, in North Platte, Nebraska, to Edgar Leroy McEntire and Letril Lavone Lee.

Linda was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and attended St. Helen Catholic Church in Pearland, Texas. She dedicated twenty-nine years of her career to Weatherford, where she served as a supervisor in the Accounts Payable Department. Linda was also a resident of Heritage Park for twenty-seven years, where she created countless cherished memories with her family and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar McEntire and Letril Lavone Lee McEntire; her son, Matthew Riley; and her sister, Gay Holt.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of forty-seven years, John Russell Riley Sr. Her daughters, Carol Fennelly and Patricia Newman (Ron). Her sons, John Riley Jr., and Harold Riley. Her sisters, Cloris Webb (Mills), Dana Daigle (John), Ronda Tewell (Stan), Karen Kemble, Nancy Shepherd, and Lauren MacQueen. Her brothers, Steven McEntire and David McEntire. Her eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Linda was loved dearly by her family and will be greatly missed forever.

There will be a visitation Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Crowder Funeral Home 2422 E. Broadway St Pearland, Texas 77581. Funeral Mass will be Friday August 21, 2026 12:00 noon. at St Helen Catholic Church 2209 Old Alvin Rd Pearland, TX 77581

Pallbearers serving will be Shaun Hutsen, Michael Riley, Patrick Delome, Jonathan Nymoen, and Kevin Knupfer.
