Shirley Omega Jennings Sones

Shirley Omega Jennings Sones, 83, a sixty-year resident of the Houston area, left this life November 3, 2017, surrounded by her husband of 64 years Freddie Anthony Sones and her boys. Born September 05, 1934 to Ezra and Laura Jennings, Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, along with her nine brothers and sisters.

Shirley is survived by her loving husband Fred and her seven sons, Paul Sones, Michael Sones and wife Terri, Mark Sones and wife Tanya, David Sones and wife Kathy, Randall Sones and wife Margaret, Gary Sones and wife June, and Keith Sones; thirteen grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason, Julie, Jana, Amber, Brian, Brandon, Jill, Amanda, Aaron, Joy, Amy, Jacob; and twenty-six great grandchildren, who will always remember her devotion to God, her unconditional love for her family, and her adventurous spirit and zest for living.

There will be a visitation Monday, November 06, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home 2422 Broadway Pearland, TX 77581. A Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday November 07, 2017 at Life Church 9901 Windmill Lakes Blvd. Houston, TX 77075. Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Michael Sones, David Sones, Randy Sones, Gary Sones, Jason Sones, Brian Sones, Isaiah Medel and Jackson Sones, with honorary pallbearers Paul Sones, Mark Sones and Keith Sones.

    I wish so much you wouldn’t cry the way you did today, while thinking of the many things we did not get to say. I know how much you love me, I know you’ll miss me too. , but when tomorrow starts without me, please try and understand that an angel took me by the hand, and said my place was ready in heaven, far above, and i would have to leave behind all those i dearly love. so when tomorrow starts without me, dont think we are far apart, for every time you think of me i a’m right here in your heart
