Haskell “Hack” Lavine Andrews
Haskell “Hack” Lavine Andrews, 83, of Dickinson, passed away June 23, 2017 in Webster. Hack was born September 27, 1933, in Lexington, Texas to Ernest and Gladys Andrews. He was a former member of the Dickinson Volunteer Fire Department and was retired. Hack was preceded in death by his parents, his aunt Clara Kelly and his sister Bessie Marie Henslee.
Hack leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 56 years Edna Marie Giamfortone Andrews; brothers Robert Andrews, Kenneth Andrews and wife, Clifford Andrews and wife, Johnny Andrews, and Julius Widener and wife; numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and great grand nieces and nephews; and his dog Taco.
A visitation in his honor will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, June 27, 2017, with funeral services 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 28, 2017, both at Crowder Funeral Home Dickinson. Interment to follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Tabatha Worthy-Chappa, Bridget Perrine, Rudolph M. Daniels, Chandler Blasberg, Gary Andrews, and Michael Andrews. Honorary pallbearers Joseph Giamfortone, Wayne Blaylock, Johnny Andrews, Kenneth Andrews, Robert Andrews, Katie Daniels, Patrick John Daniels, and Michael Daniels.
