My heart is heavy upon hearing the passing of our beloved friend. Juanita was a wonderful neighbor to Les and I while we lived in Bayou Vista on Bonita Street, as well as a fellow member of the local BV Community Church. Les had the honor of working with Juanita on many real estate contracts, even referring to her as “the fastest and best closer in the land!” She meant the world to me personally, always there when I needed a word of wisdom, advice or even just a hug and word of encouragement along with a cup of coffee. She was truly a gem and a genteel lady, but definitely not afraid to take charge when the need arose! Rest easy my good and faithful friend and know that I look forward to seeing you in eternity and perhaps listening to you sing one of those old gospel songs in that beautiful voice of yours. My condolences to her children, grandchildren and greats…your Gran was truly one of a kind and I love her as my own!
Thank you for the kind words, she missed her Bayou Vista friends as well.
My sweet friend Juanita was one of a kind. Such fond memories of our time attending Bayou Vista Baptist church. Juanita was a wonderful Christian and would do anything for you. She will be certainly missed.
Rod, we are so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. A $200.00 donation has been made in her honor to Tunnel to Towers. Prayers for your family we love you.
