  2. For more than thirty years, I had the honor of knowing Dan. A man whose presence felt like a steadying hand on the shoulder of anyone fortunate enough to cross his path. He carried kindness the way some people carry breath: quiet, effortless, and constant. His stories held wisdom, his humor was legendary, and his friendship brought a kind of peace that made others feel safe simply standing beside him.

Dan had a rare gift for making people feel seen, understood, and valued. He never sought recognition, yet he shaped the lives around him with a strength and gentleness that will echo long beyond his years. The world feels undeniably smaller without him, but those of us who shared even a fraction of his life will forever carry the light he so freely gave.

To his family, please accept my deepest condolences. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May you find comfort in the love he gave so generously, and may his memory continue to guide and embrace you.

Rest peacefully, Dan. Your memory is a blessing, and your legacy lives on in every heart you touched.
