Jeannie Rogers, 79, of Bacliff, Texas, passed from this life on August 19, 2026. Jeannie was born on July 23, 1947, in Akron, Ohio, to Floyd Richard Reichard and Annastasia W. Coppola Reichard.

Jeannie spent much of her life caring for others, both within her family and through her work in home healthcare. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose generosity was reflected in the way she showed up for the people around her.

Lovingly known as a bit of a firecracker, Jeannie was strong, spirited, independent, and wonderfully herself. She could make you laugh, keep you on your toes, and rarely left anyone wondering what was on her mind. Her unmistakable personality will be remembered just as much as her generous heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her sisters; Deborah Posten and Julianne Starrett.

Jeannie leaves behind her daughter, Anna Kimmel, and son-in-law, Harry Kimmel; her son, Floyd Lee Welch, and daughter-in-law, Sandy Welch; her granddaughters, Jennifer Diaz, Kathleen Cochran, Deborah Harrison, and Miranda Smith; her grandsons, Michael Harrison and Christopher Harrison; as well as 8 great-grandchildren; Kinzey, Kacey, Madix, Austin, Brandon, Kaitlyn, Samantha, Bradley, and her nieces Brittany Bull, Robin Posten and extended family, her 4 loving dogs and many friends.

Jeannie will be deeply missed and forever held close in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
