Mark Crowder, the son of James Crowder Jr., graduated from O’Connell High School in Galveston, Texas in 1995. After graduation he went on to graduate from the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston, Texas. He completed his apprenticeship working for the La Marque location and became a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer.
In 1993, Mark began working at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque and in 2006, when the Crowder family opened their fourth location in Pearland, he was appointed as its managing Funeral Director.
Mark devotes and volunteers himself to various organizations in the surrounding communities. He is married to Lanie Crowder and together they live in Pearland with their three children; Sydney, Devon and Lexie.
