William Louis Warnement

William “Bill” Warnement, 80, of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully on March 14, 2024, following a brave battle against leukemia.  Bill was born on September 9, 1943, in Toledo, Ohio to Francis and Ernestine Warnement. Soon after graduating from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, he married the love of his life Donna Lee, whom he’d met two years prior at the campus Newman Club.  Together, they moved their family to Houston in 1974, and consider themselves proud Texans.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Jean Warnement.

A devoted husband and father, Bill is survived by his wife Donna, and children William Jr. (Nicole) Warnement, Charles (Lori) Warnement, Thomas (Janis) Warnement, James Warnement, John (Lorraine) Warnement, Nancy (Michael) Alvarado, Beth (Matthew) Fire.  He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren, as well as his beloved sister Carol Neiers.

Bill will be remembered by his family for his love of technology, history, football, photography and a great meal (seven-course preferred).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
