Wanda Ann Ramke

Wanda Ann Ramke, 77 years old, was surrounded by family as she passed away peacefully on August 29th, 2021 in Galveston, TX and is now reunited with her beloved husband, Kenneth Michael Ramke. She was born on July 1, 1944 in New Iberia, LA to James and Lydia Demahy.  Wanda is survived by: her daughter Melissa Ramke; son Michael Ramke; sister Louise Gail Burt; brother RJ Demahy; grandchildren Maggie Barker, Max Barker, Marshal Ramke and Madison Ramke; and many other family members and friends.

She earned an associates degree from Lamar University. In addition to her roles as a dedicated wife, full-time mom and doting grandmother, Wanda also enjoyed a fulfilling career as the front desk administrator for multiple companies, most notably Clear Lake City Veterinary Clinic. Wanda had a passion for gardening and loved to play sports, especially holding down first base for many years on the St. Bernadette softball team. After retiring, she spent much of her time helping to raise her grandchildren, volunteering and helping others at St. Bernadette Catholic Church.

She will be greatly missed on this Earth, but her love, joy and kindness will forever impact all who met her.  A mass will be held on Friday September 3, 2021 at 11 am at St. Bernadette Catholic Church,15500 El Camino Real, Houston, Texas 77062.
