Walter J. Wilk

Walter was born on 12/22/1933 in Chicago, IL and passed away on 12/19/2022 in League City, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Sally Wilk. He is survived by Joan, his wife of 64 years. Children Kim Rossi, Dr. Randall Wilk, Kenneth Wilk and Karen Wilk. Grandchildren Ryan, Steven and Nathan.

Walter was raised on the south side of Chicago, lived in Warren, NJ for 7 years and spent the last 42 years in Houston TX. Walter received his accounting degree at Loyola University Chicago, was a proud member of TKE Fraternity and worked at multiple construction and engineering companies throughout his career. Walter served proudly in the army from 1954 -1956 stationed in Germany.

He was the consummate storyteller and social media allowed him to share his stories with a multitude of people. His favorite sport was Golf and he even managed to get a hole in one once.

A funeral mass will be held for Walter at St Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, 3131 El Dorado Blvd., Houston, Texas 77059 on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 10:30 am. Visitation will be held at Crowder Funeral Home – WEBSTER LOCATION, 111 East Medical Center Blvd., Webster, Texas 77598 on Thursday January 19, 2023 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
