Vicki Lynn Holland

Vicki Lynn Holland, 55, resident of Alvin, Texas, previously of Texas City, passed from life peacefully at home, Friday, February 7, 2020 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Vicki was born on May 7, 1964 in Loveland, Colorado. She was raised in Texas City by her loving mom, Myrna and Richard Hernandez along with all of her brothers and sisters. She enjoyed working in her plant and vegetable gardens, barbecuing, music, the Astros, and canning vegetables. She was an amazing mother of two daughters and a loving wife to her husband, Alan Holland. Her greatest passions in life were her daughters and four grandsons, whom she loved more than anything in the world, and her dogs, Buddy, Molly, Romeo, and Stormy.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Myrna Hernandez; step-father, Richard Hernandez; father, Alex George; sisters Rhonda George and Laura Hernandez.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband, Alan Holland; daughters Tasha Pratt and husband Jody, Tamara Shanks and husband Joel; sister Debbie Hernandez; brothers Chris Hernandez and wife Alyssa, Fred Hernandez; grandchildren Dylan and Logan Kleinhans, Parker and Preston Shanks; as well as numerous family and friends.

In her honor a funeral service will be held, Saturday, February 15th, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson, Texas.
