Varsha Shukla was born in India January 14, 1968 and departed her loving family and friends on September 21, 2021 in Sugarland, TX where she has lived since 2001.
Varsha is preceded in death by her father, Sunder Lal Awasthi, whom she cherished incredibly.
Varsha was mother to her two sons Abir Shukla and Aadi Shukla. She raised her children with love and devotion with her husband of 31 years, Ajay Shukla.
As a finical trader, Varsha was known for her diligence, patience, and intellect. As a mother and friend, she was known for her care, kindness, and love.
She leaves behind her mother, Mukul Shukla, brothers: Sandeep Awasthi, wife, Alka, and Suneet Awasthi, wife Garima; nieces: Sagun Awasthi, Mansi Awasthi, and Nikita Awasthi.
Varsha had many passions including cooking, gardening, indoor decoration, and teaching, and she always looked for opportunities to give back to her community and spread light on her world. On top of her many hobbies and community responsibilities, being a mother was an incredible source of pride in her life, driving her to always find new ways to teach them life lessons and consistently helped them develop in their own lives.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 E. Broadway St. Pearland, TX 77581.
In lieu of flowers, any donation to sewa.org would be greatly appreciated due to their continued service not only to the Shukla family during this tragic time but also to the entire Hindu community.
