Tracy Don High, Sr.

Tracy Don High, Sr., 76, of Dickinson, TX, passed away in Texas City, on March 17, 2022.  Tracy was born September 20, 1945, to Savannah and Walter High in Beaumont, Texas. Tracy proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy. He worked as a pipefitter for local 211 for many years. In 1985, he retired from pipe fitting to own and operate T-Bar-H Trucking & Tractor Service.  His passion was spending time with his family, and ranching.  He spent most of his day outdoors, mowing pastures, and tending to his cattle.  Tracy was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Susan Marie Mack High, sister Joyce Whitlow, and brothers W.M. and David High.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughters Leah Worrell and husband Kyle and Lindsey Sierra and husband Johnny; son Tracy High, Jr., and wife Amber; granddaughters Logan, Addison, Savannah, and Alexandra; grandsons Tracy III, and Truett; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In his honor visitation will be held 10:00 – 11:00 am, with funeral services at 11:00 am, Friday, March 25, 2022, Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson, Texas.  Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery, Webster.

  9. In elementary school you always won the foot races, took us horseback riding in high school, shared many hours at the drag strip and always drove a good looking shiney car. You and Susan were always wonderful role models for the rest of us. Thank you for being in our lives. Sadly missing you, your family and friends will always be blessed with all the love you gave.   11. When we moved from KY to Dickinson in the 80’s and the house we were building nearby his –
    – Tracy sold us some firewood for our woodburning stove to keep us warm our first year – and did some great yard/dirt work for us later. A great guy – you could tell. Solid in mind and honesty and welcomed us new folks.
