Susan Renae Entrekin

Susan Renae Entrekin but everyone called her Renae, of Manvel, Texas passed away November 29, 2023 surrounded by her family in the comfort of her own home. Susan was born October 9, 1964 in Houston, Texas to parents Charles Eugene and Thelma Joyace Hawthorne. Susan moved to Manvel in 1978 with her family and has been a resident of Manvel, Texas since then. She was a retired school teacher serving with Manvel Junior High School for 29 years. She taught many students in her days and acted as a special ed teacher as well as a cheer coach. Renae impacted many students in her years. She enjoyed teaching every Sunday at Heights Baptist Church in Alvin, TX.

She is preceded in death by her parents Charles Eugene Hawthorne and Thelma Joyce Hawthorne and one of her beloved dogs Izzy.

 

She is survived by her, Husband Chuck Entrekin, together for 39 years married for 33 years, her mother in love Marie Entrekin, son Nickolaus Entrekin, wife Victoria and granddog Loki. Her daughter Hannah Richert and husband Timothy and beloved dog, Dixie. Her sisters Jennifer Morris, Rachel Perry, and Rebecca Tibbitts and her brothers Robert “Lee” Hawthorne and Brad Hawthorne and numerous other nieces, nephews and friends.

 

A visitation will be held from 2-3 pm and a celebration of life will be at 3pm Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Heights Baptist Church located 1591 County Road 144 Alvin, Texas 77511.
