Shirley Ann Burt
Shirley Ann Burt, 80, passed away on January 25, 2022 in Pearland, TX. She was born on April 20, 1941 in Houston, TX to Verbon & Jessie Mae Standley. Shirley is proceeded in death by her parents, Verbon & Jessie Mae; brother, Charles; and lifelong friend, Doris Deitrich. She is survived by her daughter, Jody Burt; son, Toby Burt and wife Tamara; grandchildren Mitchell, Wade, Chloe, and Lainey Burt; sister, Judy Oliver and husband Butch; brother, Robert Standley, and extended family Gracie Peschon and son Jace, and Vilna Peschon.
Shirley attended MacArthur High School in Houston, TX. Throughout her time Shirley worked as an elevator operator, a teacher’s aide, and also in the service industry. She had a passion for animals and loved old country music, especially George Jones.
A Memorial Service to receive friends and family will be held on Friday, January 28th, at 6PM followed by a service at 7PM at Crowder Funeral Home, Webster, TX 77598.
