Sgt. Michael G. Mowry
Sgt. Michael G. Mowry, 61, of Webster, Texas, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017, at home, following a brief battle with cancer.
He was born October 9, 1955, in Davenport, Iowa, to Gregory and Angela (Dierickx) Mowry. Following graduation from West High School in Davenport, he joined the U.S. Army. Michael served until retirement and settled in Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Marie of Webster, his mother, Angela of DeWitt, Iowa, a beloved sister-in-law, Sandra G. and beautiful nieces Natalie and Desirae Thompson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gregory.
Funeral service will be held at 10am on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at First Presbyterian Church, 201 NASA Road 1 Webster, TX 77598. Burial to follow at Houston National Cemetery.
