Santiago “Jim” Jimmy Delgado, 48, of Pearland, TX, formerly of Ingleside, TX and LaPorte, TX passed away November 19, 2023 in Pearland, TX. He was born on April 6, 1975, in Corpus Christi, TX.

He is preceded in death by his father, Armando Delgado; Great-grandparents, Santiago B. and Guadalupe Garcia; and baby sister Angela Felan.

Jim was the backbone of his family, the life of the party. There was not a room he was in that was not filled with love and laughter. He was a dedicated husband and devoted father. He was so happy to have the family that he had always wanted and took so long to have.  He attended all of his sons’ football games and attended any event that they participated in.  He was a proud father and bragged about his boys every chance he got.  He loved sharing his football stories with them; always reminiscing about his days in LaPorte and Ingleside High School, where he was the quarterback.  Jim was loved by everyone, and he loved everyone. He was a loving and devoted son; he loved his parents with all his heart.  He was the big brother and always protected his siblings at all costs.  He will be missed by his whole family and friends and let’s just be honest, all the people that he ever met because he was just that kind of person.

There will be a visitation Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. with a service to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland, TX.
