  3. Sandy helped organize and run many Catkiller reunions for our Vietnam unit. She was invaluable and worked harder and smarter than anyone. Over the years she became our favorite hostess and negotiator for all things Catkiller. Sandy was the bright light light was was adored by everyone. All Catkillers are grateful for her service to our unit and their families. She will be surely missed by everyone.
Our prayers are for Carl and the entire family. What a privilege to have known this wonderful spirited woman who had no shortcomings. Hand Salute Sandy.

  12. Sending heartfelt condolences to you, Carl, and to your family at the recent loss of Sandy. We first met Sandy when we visited your home in Texas. She was the perfect hostess and we found her kind, fun and easy to talk with. We got to see her again when she was the main organizer of the reunion of Catkillers. Again, we were so very impressed with her energy and how well she had things organized. Then there were the trips to the Key West boat races….always fun and unforgettable. We will miss her, Carl. We know this is such a devastating time for you and your family….we are so very sorry. Sending love, hugs and prayers to you and your family. God bless you all.
