  12. I remember Sam, we met in 8th grade she was my good friend. She loved art and manga, she swam and played tennis. She sometimes straightened my hair with a flat iron at school before class. We spoke about boys, the future and our life. I was there when she had her first period. She made me laugh and and I felt happy around her, she was always a true friend. After 8th grade we would run into each other every few years, once I saw her playing tennis, another time she was at San Jac, and the last time was maybe about 2 years ago. She was smiling and said “Nancy?” and I said yes, we were both happy to see each other. I live in Florida but made sure while I visited Texas to attend her Celebration of Life on May Friday the 10th. I hope I can see her one day in the resurrection. I miss her and she will forever live on in our memories.

  14. I miss Sam and think of her all the time. I pray for peace for her family. I never got a chance to meet any of you, but days go by so fast sometimes. Sam saved me, I am forever grateful to have met her beautiful soul. I still cry when I think about her. She kept us laughing. Never a dull moment between me, my 3 kids, a sail boat and Sam. We had many good times and she was so amazing with my children. They miss her too. Rest in Peace Sam. You are still in our hearts.
