Robert Lincoln Manis (80) of Utopia, Texas, passed away on January 30, 2020. He was born in Texas City, Texas to Olga and Alfred Manis on February 12, 1939.

Robert is preceded in death by his mother and father, wife Debby Manis; son Casey Manis; brothers: Johnny Manis, Bubba Manis, Frank Manis, James Manis, George Manis and Raymond Manis.

He is survived by his sons: Lonnie Manis and wife Michelle, Mokie Manis and wife Carolyn, and Robert Manis Jr.; sister Betty Connors; brother Sonny Manis and wife Barbara; 8 grandchildren: Jacquelyn Smith and husband Nick Ornt, Lonna Colòn and husband Richie, Lance Manis, Cody Manis, Christopher Manis and wife Shawnee, Jaime Cruze, Kimberly Young and husband Jack, and Jeremy Barba; seventeen great grandchildren: Brook, Liam, Kaelyn, Nathan, Destiny, Richard, Tarynn, Hayznn, Blaytnn, Gauge, Halleigh, Brooklyn, Victoria, Cameron, Jack, Caleb, and Muerial ; Numerous other extended family members.

He worked at Local 450 Union of Operating Engineers, working all the local Plants, skilled in his work. Some work still in the Plants today. He enjoyed his job as a Ranch Foreman in Leaky, TX, with his love for animals and old History.

His passion was playing and singing good Old Country Music, he loved fishing, was a Wood-craftsman and Whittler. He loved whittling a piece of wood into an amazing beautiful art sculpture. He was so gifted with his hands; his last creation was making crosses for people and giving them away. His love for Family was his most important passion in Life.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque with the funeral service beginning at 2:00pm on Saturday, February 8, 2020. Interment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Mark Manis, Buster Manis, Brian Manis, Bobby Manis, Mikel Manis and Bubba Manis.  Honorary pallbearer will be Charles Manis.
