Paul G. Weaver III

Paul G. Weaver III., a resident of Pasadena, Texas passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the age of 51 surrounded by family.

Paul was a loving father and grandfather. He loved spending time with his son Gerry and had a special place in his heart for his granddaughter Trinity. A staunch conservative, Paul never wavered on his values and would defend them passionately as was in keeping with his character. He had a servant’s heart and would always jump in if there was family member, friend or neighbor in need.

Paul grew up in a Longhorn household and loved spending Saturdays in the fall watching University of Texas football. He was an avid golfer who loved the game and would never pass up the chance for a golf outing with friends. He had a passion for cooking and his culinary skills were top notch. He enjoyed cooking out and would often fill the neighborhood with the sweet smells of bar-b-que and Weaver burgers.

Paul was a craftsman by trade and honed his skills over a 30-year career in the employment of some reputable companies. There wasn’t a job he couldn’t do, and his results were always spectacular as he often did custom work for his customers, his own home and that of his mother. His work ethic was second to none and he never cut corners and if he could not the job right, then he wasn’t going to do it at all.

Paul’s favorite vacation spot was on the island of Maui. He vacationed there with family a few times over the last several years and said that someday he would live there. When the season of grieving has passed, the family will return there and place his ashes in a spot that was a particular favorite of his.

Paul will be greatly missed by family and friends and would have appreciated those in attendance here today.

He was preceded in death by his Father Paul G. Weaver Jr., Grandfather Paul G. Weaver Sr., Grandfather- James Locklin, Grandmother Dorothy Locklin, Sister-Anne Moore, Uncles James Weaver and John Locklin.

Paul is survived by his Mother- Shirley Weaver, Son- Gerry Weaver, Sister and Brother-in-law Julie and James Taylor, Brother James Moore, Granddaughter Trinity Weaver, Nieces Jaycee Moore and Stephanie Taylor, Nephew-Michael Autry, Cousin Mike Weaver and many other loving family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 2:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main, League City, Texas  77573 with Pastor Tom Louis presiding
