Norma Jean (Lampley) Lanham
Norma Jean (Lampley) Lanham, 82, on December 28, 2025, cast off her earthly shell and danced her way to heaven’s light. She was born November 23, 1943 in Texas City, Texas where she spent her childhood and built lifetime roots. She later moved to Port Lavaca, Texas where she was a business owner before eventually returning to Texas City, which she always considered home.
Norma was a strong believer in Jesus Christ and held firmly to her faith throughout her life. She trusted deeply in God’s promises and lived with the assurance of eternal life. She now rests in heaven, reunited with her loved ones, and rejoicing in the presence of her Savior.
Norma is survived by her children: Ronald Flowers, Kraig (Charlotte) Flowers, and Carrie Rouse, her sisters: Barbara Lampley and Brenda Weiss and her grandchildren: Kelsey Bates, Wesley Newmyer, Colin Rouse, Kristin Lewis, Klint Flowers, Brandyn Flowers, Erik Flowers, four great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Lillian Lampley and her grandson, Zachary Rouse.
A private burial is planned for the immediate family. Norma had a huge heart for animals all her life. Donations may be made in her memory to Three Little Pitties Rescue, www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org.
