  1. I met Neil several years ago, he was my Dads closest friend. It’s not difficult to think of great words to describe Neil: kind, generous, loving, crazy intelligent and hard working as any man can be. He refused to let anything slow him down and he had the skills to do anything his mind could conceive. Thanks for being such a great friend to my Dad, Dennis. Thanks for the kindness you always extended to me. Please accept my deepest condolences for all who knew and loved Neil.

  3. I met Neil in 1987 when he was selling Mystery Cave. I was interested in purchasing the cave, but Neil knew this was a world class cave, and worthy of sharing it with the public. So, he sold it to the DNR and subsequently millions of visitors have had the opportunity to visit this amazing cave system. I applauded his vision. One person CAN make a difference!

  4. We met Neil while we were looking to purchase his cave. Neil was gracious and gave us a tour even though he had a busy schedule that day. His expert knowledge of cave conservation lives on long after leaving the beautiful cave that he managed, loved and cared for.
