Michael was a brother in Christ, prayer partner, trusted friend and wonderful work colleague – in that order. He had a beautiful spirit of kindness, sensitivity, compassion, thoughtfulness and respect for others. That spirit was a reflection of the Spirit of Christ in his heart and soul. During the past two years of
his journey with cancer, Michael’s faith and trust in God was an incredible example to those who knew him and loved him. Even through all the challenges he faced, Michael’s faith never wavered. His love for family and his consideration for others continued to shine brightly in spite of the difficulties and pain he experienced with his own health. Michael taught me what it means to live life valiantly and triumphantly as a man of faith. I’ll never be the same person because of his impact on my own life. For that, I give God thanks and praise. Michael, you have won the race and entered eternity with your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen and Amen!
Michael was a man of great self control and faith, he carried a gentle confidence while remaining humble. He listened intently to others and genuinely cared for those he was around and those he blessed. I could see his deepest compassion in his expressions of love for Brenda and Dylan. His heart spoke boldly in his actions and the way he treated others. When he told you ‘thank you’, you felt a blessing in your heart from his genuine posture of gratitude. His continued faith in his fight is inspiring to us all and shows his great courage and strength. You have greatly blessed me brother and friend.
Doug, you described Michael perfectly!!! He is going to be missed.
