Mary Margaret Player

Mary Margaret Player, 48, a resident of Santa Fe, TX formerly of Pearland, TX passed away suddenly August 27, 2019. Mary was born February 9, 1971 in Kearny, NJ. Mary was an assistant/right-hand woman for Mr. Warren helping him with his Investment Properties for 3 years in Alvin. Mary was very crafty in many ways but there was nothing more that she loved than being with her children. She was always working on some kind of project, thinking of the next one in theory, or aquiring the most random but unique things. No matter the question, Mary had the answer to anything and everything. She was never the person to turn down another in need whether or not she knew the exact answer to the situation, she was there. Mary enjoyed being outdoors, anything to do with being with loved ones, and at the end of the day it was all about bringing the family together. She was a family woman who wore her heart on her sleeve and helped anyone before helping herself.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, John and Carolyn Morgan, SR.

Mary leaves behind her husband of 24 years, James Player; daughter, Casey Cannon; son, Christopher William Player; sister, Cindy Miller; brothers: Jon Moran, Bryon Robles, wife Pamela, Kenneth Robles and Mathew Morgan; aunts: Barbara Held, Arlene Calhoun and Diane Jendruch; uncle, Gene Stokes; cousins: Terri Cash and Barbara Calhoun; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Along with grandchildren of step-daughter, Bambie Cannon; daughter of Earl Cannon.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at 2p.m. in the chapel of Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 E. Broadway St. Pearland, TX 77581.

  1. When I’ve taken my last breath

And am no longer in this world,

The only legacy I care to leave behind

Is the Love I gave while I was here.

Every thing else, was beside the point.

Mary Your LOVE will go on. It lives inside us. Rest peacefully knowing you left the best of yourself in our hearts.

  3. Mary will always be in our hearts. She was an exceptionally hard worker and always went above what was asked of her. She gave of herself and was always thinking of others. I know that she loved our family and we loved her in return.
