Mark Russel Plott

Mark Russel Plott, of League City, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at his home in League City, Texas at the age of 51. He was surrounded by family and lots of love. He was born on November 11, 1973 in Pasadena, Texas to Bobby and Vicki Plott.

He loved surfing, fishing, hunting, all around sports fanatic, and he had a huge sweet tooth. No matter how nauseous the cancer treatment made him feel, Skittles always seemed to make everything better. One of his greatest joys was being on the sideline coaching his kids and other youth. He loved to be by the water, traveling, lived life to the fullest, and loved spending time with his family and friends. He touched the lives of many with his profound sense of humor, outgoing nature, warmth and contagious smile.

Mark professed his faith by baptism on Father’s Day, 2024. He was a member of Clear Creek Community Church. Mark and Shannon just celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in March. Their biggest blessings are their two children Talan and Finley.
