  1. My sincere sympathy on Mark’s passing. He was a fellow classmate in high school-Pasadena High School-class of 1969. My prayers for the family.

  2. Dr. Stubbs, as I knew him, was my English teacher at PHS for both my sophomore & junior years. I loved that he loved Lonesome Dove, and that he read it to us, in addition to showing the mini-series in class, making comparisons along the way. When I look back on my years as a student at PHS, the 2 years spent in his class are some of my favorite memories. Fly high, sir. You left a mark on this gal’s heart. My sincere condolences to his family. Thank you for sharing him with us! ♡

  4. Mark was a friend and colleague of mine. His passion for teaching along with his humor was one of the reasons I liked Mark. His passion as a teacher went beyond the content but was extended to his students. Mark’s integrity was a constant which I genuinely admired. Mark’s passion and integrity was carried with him as he transitioned to financial planning. Friend you are missed by me.
