Margaret Brady

Margaret Brady, 75, thirteen year resident of Hitchcock, Texas passed from this life, Wednesday, November 23, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones. Margaret was born October 24, 1947 to proud and loving parents, Gerod and Eleanor Eilers in Brooklyn, New York.

She grew up and started her life’s journey with the love of her life, James C. Brady and from this union were blessed with three sons. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, realtor, a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, but her proudest achievement was the title of Grandmother.

Margaret leaves behind to cherish and honor her memory, husband James Brady; sons, James C. Brady Jr. and wife Holly, Jeff Brady and wife Jill, Scott Brady and wife Carol; sisters, Ellen Eilers, Maureen Richardson, and Theresa Rifenburg; brothers, Edward Doherty and John Doherty; grandchildren, Tyler Brady, Tori Brady, Amanda Brady, Meghan Brady, Zachary Brady, Ridley Brady, Brooke Brady and Van Ray Brady; great-grandchildren, Canen Brady and Casen Brady as well as numerous extended family and friends.

In her honor a visitation will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 4:00-8:00pm in the Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson, Texas with a funeral mass on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Hitchcock, Texas officiated by Father David Harris.

  1. Peg and I were lifelong friends and I am so saddened by her passing. She fought the fight and never waivered in her faith nor her fight. We were high school besties and later in life, traveling buddies. Till we meet again Peg, love and miss you.

  2. Thank you to.Margaret to be the 1st to invite us to dinner after we were married…She told me to line the broiler pan with aluminum foil to have easy clean ups..
