Lydia Falcon Gonzales

Lydia Falcon Gonzales, 71, resident of Houston, Texas passed from this life, Friday, August 13, 2021 in Houston, Texas. She was born May 27, 1950 in Brackettville, Texas to proud and loving parents, Rafael Falcon and Victoria Garza Falcon.  Lydia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  Proof is in the amazing family she leaves to cherish her memory. Lydia was a member of Calvary Church in Houston and St. Mary’s in League City.

She leaves to carry on her legacy her eight daughters, Christina Gonzales (Raul), Virginia Gonzales V. Roses (Roland Valdez), Laura Garcia (Arcenio), Marcella Gonzalez (Eucario), Delilah Ann Gonzales (Rachel Gonzales), Lisa Willie (Joel), Janie Emerson (Terrance), Mariah Daja Melendez; three sons, Joe Louis Gonzales (Nancy Gonzales), Salvador Gonzales (Esmeralda), and Guadalupe Gonzales (Crystal); sisters, Ora Hales, and Mary Terrazas (Armando); brothers, Rafael Falcon Jr. and Roy Falcon (Emma); as well as her pride and joy, fifty-five grandchildren and thirty-one great grandchildren.

In her honor a visitation will be held, August 20, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Crowder Funeral Chapel, Dickinson, Texas. A funeral service will follow August 21, 2021 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Dickinson, Texas.

The family respectfully asks that masks be worn.

    Lord I pray you give our family strength, As we go through this tough time. I know you needed an Angel, and decided to call my grandmother. I know she’s loving it and smiling down on us Lord. Lord thank you for taking the pain from her and letting us have our last moments with her. I will forever be grateful for that. Rest easy Grandma👑 and know we love you so much. You will never be forgotten ❤️ till we meet again. In Jesus name we pray, Amen!
