Lemuel “LB” Boudreaux

Lemuel Boudreaux also known as LB, 80, a resident of Hitchcock, passed away peacefully at his home on May 15, 2024. He was born on November 23, 1943 in Galveston, Texas to parents, Ives Boudreaux and Lillian Amanda (Bullard) Boudreaux.

Lemuel was a loving Husband to his wife Angie for 44 years. He loved entertaining friends and family and greeting people with a hot bowl of his famous gumbo. Most of his weekends you would find him in Louisiana at a slot machine with a cold Miller Light, watching his horse (Lloyd’s Choice) race at Delta Downs or at Andy’s buying his pick 3s. Anytime there was music playing you would find him on the dance floor. Lemuel started his career as a merchant seaman sailing all over the world. Then he started a new career as an Iron Worker local 135 and after retirement he continued to his career owning his own Car Lot (Boudreaux Motors). Lastly he finished his career at gulf Coast Bail Bonds. His greatest accomplishment in life was being the Best PAWPAW to his grandkids and great grandkid.

He is preceded in death by his parents, son Theo “Bubba” Herrera and his brothers Ivey & Leslie Boudreaux.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Angie Boudreaux and daughters, Michelle Trahan (Troy) and Tiffany Boudreaux (David), Lisa Herrera (Bubba). Mother in law Paz Perez, Brothers Corey, Everett, Perry and Jerry. Grandchildren Alexa Fox (Andrew), Rayna Mokhtari (Moje), Natalie Alvarez (Bruce), Jacob Guidry, Noah (Peanut) Donahoe, Hayle Herrera (Steven), Mark Anthony Herrera, Bonus grandson Justin Alvarez and Great Grandson Mase Mokhtari.

In his honor, there will be a visitation on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 10:00am, also at Crowder Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock, Texas. Following the graveside services (At PawPaw’s Request) in his honor there will be a party with food and alcohol at the American Legion Post 554 1650 State Hwy 3 League City, TX 77573

Pallbearers will be Ray Alvarez, Andrew Fox, Moje Mokhtari, Troy Guidry, Bruce Erekson, Justin Alvarez. Honorary Pallbearers Byrum Biscamp and Wayne Churchil.

  2. Angie, Our prayers are with you and your wonderful family. He was an exceptional person and a great friend that we will miss dearly. Not gonna be the same without all those laughs and even those arguments we sometimes had. And who can ever forget that smile and distant fully rough voice 😁. Thanks for the memories, Buddy….
