Kathleen J. Geasland Ahmad “Kathy”

Kathleen J. Geasland Ahmad “Kathy” was 58 years old at the time of her death. She passed away at her sister’s place of residence in Houston, Texas from metastatic liver cancer on July 30, 2022under hospice care. She was born on January 20, 1964 in Fort Lee, Virginia to loving parents, Ronald Clamont Geasland and Dolores Patricia Finerty. She is survived by her sister, Kimberly Caylor and brother, William Geasland, as well as nephew, Colin Caylor, and grandniece, Kielyn Caylor. Her best friend, Fina Melgoza and cat, Simone “Moni”.

Kathy showed talent in art that followed her through her life, if it wasn’t a pastel seascape drawing to a painted t-shirt, it was her love of beads. She made hundreds of earrings and bedazzled anything and everything. Kathy saw beauty in any object that she could put her mark on, including the people that she touched. Kathy was a giving person and stood up for the underdog. For having such a short life, she touched so many. She took care of every neighborhood stray cat, possum, or racoon. She always felt that she would win the lottery and have a no kill shelter for cats. Her life was full of color and positivity and reminded us that no matter what we are given it is never too much to handle.

From Emmanuel’s Book

“Love, you will not exhaust the love in the universe if you were to absorb it from now until the end of time. Love is all that exists. Love is the universal communication. It is the energy that has created the universe and is keeping it going. God is love. All matter is formed by love. There is an organic love that speaks to everyone if they could but hear. In spirit the essence of your being is love.”
