Joyce Mae Long

Joyce Mae Long, 76, of La Marque passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020 in Pearland, Texas.  She was born March 23, 1944 in Bethlehem, PA to Harold and Virginia Miller.

Joyce loved going to the Casino’s, playing BINGO, her animals and most of all she was about her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Harold G. Miller Jr.  Joyce is survived by her husband of 48 years, David W. Long, three daughters; Melanie Robinson, Linda Currington (Cord) and Angela Dise, two sons; Milton Price (Cathy) and Shawn Long, brother  Ronald Miller (Konnie), her thirteen grandchildren; Milton Price, Jr., (Hayley) John Pinkston (Brittany), Ashley Taylor (Chazz), Kaitlynne Robinson(Mason), Chris Currington, Hailey Currington, Amber Currington, Erica Long, Corey Price, Michael Price, Anthony Vessio (Victoria), Lauren Vessio and Dawn Binkley and three great grandchildren.

Family will have a private service at a later date.   Arrangements are under the direction of James Crowder Funeral Home, La Marque.

  1. My prayers go out to Melanie Robinson and her family. Melanie is a co-worker of mine and throughout the 20+ years that we have worked together she always spoke well of her mom. One thing I know is that Mrs.Long was well loved. She will be missed but she will guide this family as one of God’s angels.

I’m so very sad but happy you are whole again You and the family mean the world to me and I’m trying do the Dont worry be happy u always told me .I’m soiled we made our Vegas trip and some more memories. You were the best Mom #2 and you hold the heavens till I get there. I love you and miss you so so much. Sending prayers to all the family they all loved you so much . You meant the world to your kids and them to you. God bless us all until we meet again and we will. I love u 😇😇⚘⚘
