  6. To Cheryl, Sherry, Shelly, their families and the entire Scott Family,

Greetings, prayers, and blessings to all of you. John now understands the Savior’s promise of peace as a true and lasting reward. What we suffer in this world doesn’t come close to the tremendous joy we will know in the Kingdom of Heaven. A deep faith and a true appreciation of ALL God’s creatures is what defined his life. Now it’s our turn to take what he taught us and use it to see God’s face in life. Bless YOU!

  17. I went to school with John and his sister Carol in Bremond, Texas and must say they both were two of the nicest and well-mannered people I have ever met.I always loved and respected him as well as him doing the same. His dad sold insurance in Bremond which my mother had coverage with him and we always looked forward to him coming by and chatting with us at our home. Rest in peace johnny. Prayers for his family.

  20. Dr. Scott was an amazing man. When he found out I was graduating from TAMUG and had never attended a proper Aggie football game, he offered to take me to my first one and teach me all the traditions. It was an amazing experience that I will never forget. One particularly bad day at work together, a client threatened to punch me because she didn’t want to pay her bill. I’ve never seen anyone react so fast to protect me before. He sternly told her that was no way to treat a person and asked her to never come back again, that she was no longer a client. I have so many great memories of the wonderful veterinarian and person that he was. Thank you for sharing him. Peace and love to his family.

  25. Deepest sympathy for your loss of Dr Scott. May you feel God’s presence and comfort during this time. I will always remember John as a calm and patient mentor for a young teenager who he and Bruce hired for his first job 43 years ago. John was a terrific role model for me. He always demonstrated strong ethics and compassion to both patient and client. I like to think that part of John lives on in the lives he has touched. Now he is with Jesus with his health restored.
