James Raymond Gibson Jr

James Raymond Gibson Jr was born to James Raymond Gibson Sr and Twila Jean Gibson on January 15th 1973 in Houston, Texas. He passed away on April 13th 2024.

James is survived by his Mother, Twila Alford Gibson of Damon, Tx; his brothers Dennis Hebert of Damon, Tx  & Shawn Hebert (Krystal) of Kress, Tx; his sister Jennifer Corbin of Monroe, La; his nieces Nicole Brown (Patrick); Meghann Piatt (Jamie); his nephew Andrew Hebert (Kerrie); Great Nephews Braydon, Justin, Collin & Trevor; Great Nieces Kylie & Emma as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by His father James Raymond Gibson Sr; Paternal Grandparents George James and Pearl Ester Gibson; Maternal Grandparents, Clarence Ewin and Carrie Alice Alford and his brother Roger Dale Hebert.

James was a Worthy Patron of the Eastern Star Sugarland Chapter as well as the Masons for many years. In his pastime, he enjoyed his woodwork, horseshoes, cornhole, and recently had a joy for making sausage and jerky. James loved spending time with his two pup friends Lucy and Rona, as well as spending time with his family and friends. He found comfort talking to his best friend of 45 years, Monica King.

There will be a visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 E. Broadway St. Pearland, TX. 77581, With a service to follow at 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will be at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Forest Grove Cemetery in Rockdale, TX.

  3. Family , I am so sorry for this sudden and tragic loss. I know it will leave a tremendous void in everyone’s life and a huge hole in our hearts. Praying that in time God will grant you all acceptance and understanding. I know he has a perfect plan for us and we must trust his direction. I know God has prepared a glorious place for him in Heaven and that he is united with Roger and all his other family. For this I am Thankful that he is home. I pray we can one day rejoice in Gods glory with James as I know he surely earned his crown. I love you all and I will be praying for comfort and strength during this time.

I know Gods timing is never easy when we lose our loved ones, but I know God has a perfect plan for James. I can vision James whole, completely renewed and restored for this we must be grateful.
