James E. Loveless, age 78, passed away June 16, 2025 in Houston, Texas. He was born in Shelbyville, Indiana to James E. Loveless, and Corda Frances Loveless (nee Lay). James is survived by sons Michael (Angela) Loveless of Bayview, TX, Donald C. Loveless of Edinburg, IN, and daughter Jaime R. Dancey of Pasadena, TX.

James was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 44 years, Linda Joyce. his brother, Donald E. Loveless of Shelbyville, IN, sons Patrick Loveless of Jackson, TN and Ronald Eaves, of Buna, TX.

James is also survived by grandchildren Leeana (Joseph) Ivic, Madison (Michael) Dewey, Leighton Loveless, Colton (Gabby) Parker, Kaci Parker, Kaylin Parker, Artis Eaves; Lucy (James) Smith, Devin (Sarah) Stayton, Anna (LaRue) Harris, Tyler (Bret) Poplin; Julia (Dexter) Loveless; Darian Loveless; and numerous great grandchildren.

In his younger years, James loved riding motorcycles, working on and racing cars with his brother and friends. James turned his passion for all things mechanical into employment as a machinist for Albermarle Corporation where he worked for 28 years. Though James’ health issues began early on in life, he battled on. and put his faith in God to see him through these times. He loved playing his guitar and harmonica singing to his children and grandchildren. Upon retirement from Albermarle Corporation, he enjoyed traveling, fishing, RV Camping and especially spending time visiting his brother and his many family and friends. He always loved reading his Bible, and attending and volunteering at church until more health issues beset him and hindered his daily activities.

A memorial will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 11:00am (visitation) followed by a funeral at 12:00am at FaithBridge Church, Deer Park Texas.
