Isidro Rodriguez

Isidro Rodriguez of Bacliff was born March 15, 1961, in Galveston to Lenora & Francisco Rodriguez; on the evening of May 11, 2021, he was called to the presence of the Lord. He was a kind & hard-working husband, dad, grandpa, uncle, brother, & friend. Isidro leaves behind his faithful wife of 34 years Tammy Rodriguez, & his 4 beloved daughters & their spouses: Leslie & Michael Morris; Laci & Mark Worley; Lauren & Beau Cuthbertson; & LeighAnn & Mike Morales; & 12 precious grandchildren: Selah, Nehemiah, Abigail, Liberty, & Haven Morris; Tamen, Graci, Brookelynn, & Millie Worley; Guinevere & Tristan Cuthbertson; & David Morales. He is also survived by his father, 1 brother, 5 sisters, & many nieces, nephews, family members, & friends. A wonderful Christian example, Isidro will be greatly missed by those he loved & those who loved him in return. A General Engineer Technician for 21 years, Isidro was a Supervisor at the Texas Department of Transportation (TX DOT). He was a loyal member & trustee of First Baptist Church of Webster where he sang in the choir & took care of the church lawn. Some of Isidro’s last words came from Proverbs chapter 3, verses 5 & 6:

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; & lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, & he shall direct thy paths.

The Celebration of his Life will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at First Baptist Church of Webster, 420 Slossen Street, Webster, Texas. The family will also receive visitors on Tuesday evening from 5:00 pm- 9:00 pm at the church.

  6. Isidro. I missed the time, every time when me & Albert climb out the Tahoe, we chit chat a bit, and walk to the office with a smile. Whether it’s grateful, or felt funny.

Never did I talk to you about my faith, but I knew you were God fearing Christian.
May God reward you, bless the family behind you, blessed when they come in and blessed when they go out.
